AN ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS VINTAGE BLOUSE BY JACK MULQUEEN FOR VALENTINO FROM MY OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION - I BOUGHT THIS BLOUSE QUITE SOMETIME AGO & IT IS STUNNING ON - IT IS SHOWN WITH A BLACK EVENING SKIRT WHICH IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION - I WORE IT WITH BLACK EVENING PANTS & IT WAS BEAUTIFUL - THE BLOUSE IS IN AN IVORY SILK WITH TINY BLACK SQUARES SPRINKLED ALL OVER - THE LACE RUFFLES ARE AT A SLIGHT DIAGONAL FOR INTEREST AS ONLY VALENTINO WOULD THINK OF - NOTICE THAT THE LACE ON THE SLEEVES IS IN LINE WITH THE LACE ON THE BODY OF THE BLOUSE - A MARK OF GOOD WORKMANSHIP LINING UP EVERYTHING WHICH IS NOT ALWAYS DONE WITH TODAY'S FASHIONS - THERE IS A TIE AT THE NECK WITH 2 LOOPS & 1 BUTTON - THE BUTTON UNDER THE TIE IS MISSING & IT REALLY IS NOT NECESSARY TO REPLACE AS YOU CAN’T SEE IT ANYHOW WITH THE TIE IN FRONT OF IT - THE SILK IS SEMI-SHEER & BEAUTIFUL - PUFFY SLEEVES WITH A BUTTON ON THE BAND - A TINY SHOULDER PAD WITH A BIT OF FOAM RUBBER & 4 LAYERS OF SILK ORGANZA TO GIVE THE SLEEVES A BIT OF A PUFF - THE BACK IS JUST AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE FRONT WITH THE ROWS OF LACE AMONG THE SILK - I ALWAYS RECEIVED MANY, MANY COMPLIMENTS ON THE BLOUSE WHEN I WORE IT AS IT LOOKS TERRIBLY EXPENSIVE & ELEGANT ON WHICH I AM SURE IT WAS - A VERY FEMIMINE & BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE TOP FROM VALENTINO

Size: 14 - I wear a size 8 - 10 & closer to the size 10 & it fit me & possibly a larger size but go by the measurements for a good fit Measurements:

Length: 27-3/4
Fabric: 100% Silk Condition: Very good - someone‘s name is on the BACK of the care tag which no one will ever see - missing a button at the top which could be replaced but not necessary - the label was loose & the former owner resewed it with black thread - a thin 1-thread run (no pull) on the next to the last tier on the blouse which I never saw until very closely examining it & no one else will ewither - tiny appx 1" under the underarm in the seam needs a couple of stitches to pull together - easy fix
Care: Dry clean
We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be NEW, please don't expect it to be perfect. Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use/wear. We always list the obvious staining/spotting/discoloration and damage/defects to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning. I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing.
