A FABULOUS VINTAGE ‘50s PROM GOWN / EVENING DRESS / FORMAL DRIPPING WITH LACE BOWS WITH METAL ZIPPER - THE SWEEP ON THIS DRESS IS FABULOUS & MEASURES 509" OR OVER 42 FEET! - SHEER LEMON ORGANZA OVER RUSTLEY CREAM TAFFETA - THE VERY FULL CREAM LINING HAS A 10” FLOUNCE THAT IS TRIMMED WITH CREAM LACE FOR EXTRA DETAILING - LACE DOWN EACH SIDE OF THE BODICE - THE SKIRT IS VOLUMINOUS WITH A LARGE FLOUNCE AT THE BOTTOM & IS EMBELLISHED WITH LARGE WHITE LACE BOWS - IT WAS PHOTOGRAPHED WITHOUT A HOOP & WOULD LOOK FABULOUS IF YOU ADD ONE AS YOU WILL HAVE AN EVEN FULLER SKIRT, IF POSSIBLE! - THERE IS MORE LACE ON THE HEM FOR THE FINISHING TOUCH - THE DRESS IS QUITE HEAVY BECAUSE OF THE VOLUME OF FABRIC - LONG METAL ZIPPER IN BACK - YOU WILL LOOK LIKE YOU BELONG IN A SOUTHERN MANSION WEARING THIS GORGEOUS VINTAGE ‘50s GRAND SWEEP PROM GOWN

Fabric:No tag but organza & taffeta Condition: Very good - the edges of the lace on the hemline are soiled in some places as is to be expected since it was touching the ground & I am sure that you would want to have it cleaned before wearing & it should come off - some tiny imperfections in the flounce in one spot which no one would ever see Care: No tag but dry clean
We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be NEW, please don't expect it to be perfect. Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use/wear. We always list the obvious staining/spotting/discoloration and damage/defects to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning. I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing.
