A GORGEOUS VINTAGE MIKE BENET SEQUIN & RHINESTONE CHIFFON EVENING GOWN - THE COLOR IS A DEEP DARK RED NOT ORANGY AS IN SOME OF THE PHOTOS - BODICE IS COVERED WITH SPARKLING IRRIDESCENT SEQUINS WITH RHINESTONE ENCRUSTED SILVER TWISTED BRAID AROUND THE NECK, DOWN THE BODICE, AROUND THE WAIST & NECKLINE IN BACK - SHEER NYLON CHIFFON FULL SKIRT WITH A HEAVY PEAU DE SOIR LINING - THE DRESS IS VERY HEAVY BECAUSE OF THE SEQUINS & FABRIC IN THE DRESS - VINTAGE PINKED SEAMS IN THE LINING - BACK ZIPPER - PERFECT FOR THE HOLIDAYS WHEN YOU WANT TO BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION & LOOK SPECTACULAR!
Designer: Mike Benet Formals Size: No tag Measurements: Bust: 44 - 46 stretched tight Waist: 36 unstretched Length: 55-1/2 Fabric: No tag but nylon chiffon & peau de soir Condition: Very good - some smaller runs on the lower side of the BACK of the skirt which will fall into the folds & I did not see them until closely examining & holding up to the bright sunlight - soiling on the hem of the lining which come out with a cleaning & no one could see it anyhow - a few smaller places in the LINING hem need some stitches Care: No tag but dry clean
We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be NEW, please don't expect it to be perfect. Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use/wear. We always list the obvious staining/spotting/discoloration and damage/defects to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning. I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing.
