A GORGEOUS SCARLET EVENING GOWN PERFECT CHRISTMAS, NEW YEAR’S OR ANY FORMAL OCCASION - THE COLOR IS A SCARLET NOT AN ORANGEY RED AS IN THE PHOTOS - THE NECKLINE IS FABULOUS ON THIS GOWN WITH A VERY WIDE V - THERE IS STIFF BONING AROUND THE TOP OF THE V & IN THE MIDDLE TO KEEP IT’S SHAPE - COMES TO A GREAT V - THERE IS MORE BONING IN THE FRONT & BACK OF THE GOWN TO KEEP IT UP & SMOOTH LOOKING - THERE IS ANOTHER V BELOW THE WAIST WHICH MIRRORS THE V ON THE BODICE - SLIMMING PRINCESS SEAMS ON THE BODICE & BACK - LONG OPEN KICK PLEAT IN BACK FOR EASE IN WALKING - FULLY LINED & BEAUTIFULLY MADE - LONG BACK ZIPPER - JUST A GORGEOUS EVENING GOWN FOR CHRISTMAS & HOLIDAYS IN SCARLET

Waist: 27 unstretched
Hips: 38 but leave room for movement as Peau de Soir does not give
Length from underarm: 49
Fabric: Peau de Soir
Care: No tag but dry clean
Condition: Very good - as pointed out in the photo, there is a small area that looks as though the fabric brushed up against something & made it a bit rough but no one could see it unless in very bright light & you were looking for it - very minor

I may miss a small imperfection but we always list the obvious ones to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.
Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
