I FOUND THIS LOVELY PARTY DRESS IN A WONDERFUL VINTAGE STORE IN SAN DIEGO ON MY LAST SHOPPING TRIP & FELL IN LOVE WITH THE COLOR & THE HUGE FABRIC ROSE – SO FEMININE - THE COLOR OF THIS VINTAGE PARTY DRESS BY MISS ELLIETTE IS GORGEOUS IN A DEEP AQUA SHADE CALLED DRAGONFLY – THE BODICE IS DRAPED FOR A VERY FEMININE LOOK ADORNED WITH A HUGE FABRIC ROSE & LEAVES AT THE WAIST – I WOULD TACK THE ROSE BACK WITH A COUPLE OF STITCHES TO KEEP IT OPEN AS THE WEIGHT OF THE FABRIC MAKES IT DROOP OVER – EASY FIX - THE FABRIC IS A CHIFFON-TYPE FABRIC WITH A TAFFETA LINING –THE SKIRT IS VERY FULL WITH NEARLY 300” OR NEARLY 25 FEET OF CHIFFON – SET-IN GUSSETS UNDER THE ARMS - LONG METAL ZIPPER IN BACK – VINTAGE PINKED SEAMS – THE ENTIRE DRESS IS LINED – JUST A GORGEOUS SHADE OF DRAGONFLY IN THIS WONDERFUL VINTAGE PARTY DRESS WHICH WOULD BE PERFECT TO WEAR ON A CRUISE, TO A WEDDING OR OUT TO DINNER

Size: Vintage size 16 but it is in no way a size 16 of today so go by the measurements

Care: Dry clean
Condition: Very good – there is a light run on the bodice which was hard to see because it falls into the draping & no one else would see it either

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
