THE LOVELY LIGHTWEIGHT NO-PILE VELVETY-FEEL VELOUR APPEARS TO BE A ORANGEY REDDISH SHADE BUT IS ACTUALLY IS A RICH DEEP SCARLET - THERE IS ELASTIC AT THE TOP OF THE BODICE FOR A GOOD FIT - A HUGE ARTIFICIAL VELVETY ROSE WITH STAMENS & LEAVES IS THE FOCAL POINT ON THE BODICE OF THE STRAPLESS GOWN
BIG LOOPS OF VELOUR HANG FROM THE ROSE WITH 2 VERY LONG TIES WHICH CAN EITHER BE TIED IN AN EMPIRE STYLE OR LEFT HANGING OR TIED AROUND THE NECK FOR A HALTER LOOK

Size: Small but should fit a Medium as well but go by the measurements for a good fit
Bust: 26 - 52 stretched tight
Length: 48-1/3 - I am 5 6 & it came below my ankle & to the top of my instep on me
Fabric: Velvety Arnel & Nylon
Care: Dry clean
Condition: Very good - a few tiny spots on the front of the bodice shown in the photos which I didn?t see until I held it up to the light & moved the ties which appeared more obvious in the photos than in real life - they may come out with a cleaning but are pretty well hid by the ties on top of them

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
