A LOVELY VINTAGE RHINESTONE & PEARL SWEATER BY “AN ORIGINAL BY TOBI OF CALIFORNIA” IN A GORGEOUS BABY BLUE - MY CAMERA DID NOT CAPTURE THE EXACT SHADE WHICH IS MUCH PRETTIER THAN SHOWN BUT IT IS A MEDIUM BABY BLUE - GARLANDS OF PEARLS ARE DRAPED OVER THE SWEATER IN ADDITION TO PEARL "FLOWERS" STUDDED WITH A SPARKLING RHINESTONE IN THE CENTER - THERE ARE MORE RHINESTONES SPRINKLED OVER THE SWEATER FOR A GLAMOROUS LOOK - IT IS HEAVY FROM PEARLS & RHINESTONES - PEARLIZED BUTTONS DOWN THE FRONT - A FULL FASHIONED SWEATER WHICH IS THE BEST TYPE OF SWEATER THAN YOU CAN GET - NO FABRIC TAG BUT VERY SOFT FABRIC - A BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE RHINESTONE & PEARL EVENING SWEATER PERFECT FOR OVER ALL OF YOUR VINTAGE COCKTAIL DRESSES OR WITH PANTS - A ONE-OF-A-KIND VINTAGE PEARL & RHINESTONE SWEATER BY "AN ORIGINAL BY TOBI OF CALIFORNIA"

Fabric: No tag but feels like the vintage Orlan
Care: No tag but I did a soak in Oxy & it turned out fine so probably hand wash no dryer
Condition: there was a spot on the area shown in the photo so I did an oxy soak & practically all came - there is just a faint bit which no one would see unless closely examining - too faint to show up on the photo - the INSIDE facing which is the backing under the rhinestones & pearls to give it strength is a bit shredded but I trimmed some of it - some loose threads in the same area could be clips off - I clipped off some of them

However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.
Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
