A BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE VICTORIAN-LOOK LACE PEIGNOIR & NIGHTGOWN SET IN IVORY - EXQUISITE CRISP FLORAL LACE ON THE BODICE OF THE PEIGNOIR WITH SELF COVERED BUTTONS & A TIE FOR CLOSURE - BEAUTIFUL DARTING DETAIL FALLS BENEATH THE LACE FOR INTEREST - THE BACK IS FANTASTIC WITH THE HUGE SHEER LACE INSERT WHICH ENDS BELOW THE WAIST IN A GATHERED LACE PEPLUM FOR A VERY FEMININE LOOK WITH SATIN GATHERS UNDERNEATH FOR FULLNESS - THERE IS A SET-IN BELT WHICH STARTS IN THE BACK WHERE THE PEPLUM IS WHICH CAN BE TIED IF YOU WISH - TINY LITTLE PUFFS OF NYLON AT THE SHOULDERS TO GIVE THE PEIGNOIR A BIT OF SHAPING & MAKE THE LACE STICK OUT A BIT - 2 POCKETS IN THE SEAMS - THE SILKY SMOOTH FABRIC IS SATIN & THE SLEEVES ARE LACE TRIMMED - THE MATCHING GOWN IS BEAUTIFUL WITH 2 WIDE ROWS OF FLUFFY LACE WHICH TRAVEL AROUND TO THE LOW LACE-UP BACK - LOVELY DARTING UNDER THE LACE FLOUNCES ON THE BODICE AS SHOWN IN ONE OF THE PHOTOS - FULL BIAS-CUT 1930’s MOVIE STAR LOOK TO THE GOWN - PERFECT FOR A SPECIAL EVENING OR AS A BRIDAL SET
By: Victoria’s Secret - made in Hong Kong where all of those beautiful vintage beaded dresses & quilted robes were made in the ‘60s
Size: Medium - I wear a size 8 - 10 & closer to the size 10 & it fit me perfectly - although was in my personal collection, I have never worn it

Condition: Very good - lace is very crisp & it looks as though it may not have ever been worn - 3 very small pale pink marks near the hemline on the peignoir which I never would have seen if I hadn’t been very closely examining it & no one else will see it either as it will be down close to the floor & not visable

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use/wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.
Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
