I JUST HAPPENED TO GO ONTO THE NEIMAN MARCUS SITE RECENTLY & THERE ARE CONTEMPORARY LA PERLA PEIGNOIR & GOWN SETS WHICH HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO DETAILING & ARE VERY PLAIN & THEY ARE SELLING FOR AROUND $1,000 - THESE VINTAGE SETS THAT ARE IN MY COLLECTION ARE JUST GORGEOUS WITH BEAUTIFUL DETAILING THAT YOU WILL NEVER SEE NOWADAYS & THAT IS WHY THEY BRING A HIGHER PRICE - WHY PAY $1,000 FOR A CONTEMPORARY PEIGNIOR & GOWN SET WHICH IS NOT EVEN PRETTY WHEN YOU CAN HAVE A ONE-OF-KIND GORGEOUS VINTAGE SET THAT NO ONE ELSE WILL HAVE
THIS FROTHY, FLUFFY CONFECTION IS IN A FABULOUS SHADE OF VIOLET - TONS & TONS OF DOUBLE NYLON ON THE PEIGNOIR WITH THE FAMOUS POM POM LONG TIES - THE SHOULDERS HAVE LOTS OF GATHERS WHICH TRAVEL DOWN TO FORM ALL OF THE FULLNESS ON THE PEIGNOIR - THERE IS A NYLON “BELT” IN THE BACK OF THE PEIGNOIR THAT LIES CLOSE TO YOUR BODY SO THE BACK IS FREE & FLOWING WHICH WILL GIVE IT A DRAPED LOOK - 461” OR NEARLY 39 FEET OF SHEER NYLON WITHOUT COUNTING THE LINING!
THE EQUALLY LOVELY GOWN IS OUT OF DOUBLE NYLON WITH A SHEER LAYER OVER SLINKY NYLON WITH BEAUTIFUL SHAPED PLUNGING NECKLINE - THERE IS A NYLON TIE INSIDE WHICH COMES OUT IN FRONT TO TIE TO GIVE AN EMPIRE-STYLE LOOK WHICH MAKES THE BACK DRAPE & FLOW FREELY - WHEN I TOOK THE PHOTOS, I DID NOT NOTICE THAT THERE WERE 2 LOOPS AT THE APEX OF THE V NECKLINE & THE TIES ARE SUPPOSED TO GO THROUGH THERE - SINCE I DID NOT SEE THEM, I TIED THE TIES LOWER ON THE GOWN THAN THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN - THE SET IS VERY HEAVY FROM YARDS & YARDS OF DOUBLE NYLON - THE LINGERIE MANUFACTURER DEENA LATER BOUGHT THE CLAIRE SANDRA COMPANY & THAT IS WHY YOU SEE THE SAME STYLES WITH THAT COMPANY BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SAME
THE GOWN HAS GATHERS ON THE SHOULDERS FRONT & BACK WITH A LITTLE NYLON BAND ACROSS IT - THE DRAPED BACK WILL FLOAT BECAUSE OF THE TIE INSIDE - THE GOWN HAS A CIRCUMFERENCE OF 273” OR NEARLY 23 FEET - THE THE SET HAS THE WOVEN GOLD METALLIC THREAD ON WHITE TAGS - JUST A FABULOUS RARE VINTAGE SET BY LUCIE ANN FOR CLAIRE SANDRA OF BEVERLY HILLS IN A GORGEOUS SHADE OF ROSE DUST WHICH YOU WILL NEVER AGAIN SEE

Size: 34 but I wear a size 10 & it fit me perfectly as it is from my personal collection but go by the measurements for a good fit
Peignoir
Bust: all the way around 50
Armholes: 12-½ - if you need them larger, there is a seam at the bottom of the sleeve underneath which could be split open which goes into the side seam of the peignoir & it could be made larger that way by just opening the seam - the cleaners could do that easily
Length: 54
Nightgown
Bust: 46 - 50 stretched tight
Length: 54
Fabric: Tons & tons of gorgeous double nylon
Care: Washable - although the tag says machine wash, these are vintage sets & could not take the roughness of a washer & definitely not a dryer - do not machine wash or dry these sets as you will ruin it or do not iron the set with a iron as the nylon will shrivel up - I would very gently hand wash or spot clean with a bit of detergent on a cloth & hang in the shower dripping wet to drip dry - I do not think I would trust a cleaners to clean these sets as they could ruin them - just hand wash very gently & drip dry
Condition: Very good - I saw miniscule pinhead hole on the skirt of the peignoir but could not find it again when I tried - could be a couple of more that I missed but I didn’t see any & with 39 feet of nylon, no one could ever see them with the tons of nylon in this set

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be NEW, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use/wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.
Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
