YOU WILL LOOK LIKE A MOVIE STAR IN THIS GORGEOUS VINTAGE MARABOU & FLUID CHAMPAGNE SATIN PEIGNOIR & NIGHTGOWN SET - I PURCHASED THIS SET FROM A WOMAN IN FLORIDA WHO TOLD ME SHE HAD PURCHASED IT AT AN ESTATE SALE IN PALM BEACH - SHE SAID WHEN SHE ARRIVED AT THE ESTATE, THE GROUNDS & HOUSE WERE JUST LIKE OUT OF A MOVIE SET, IT WAS SO FANTASTIC - THE NIECE OF THE LADY THAT HAD OWNED THIS FABULOUS SET SAID THAT HER AUNT HAD THE SATIN PEIGNOIR CUSTOM MADE TO GO WITH THE NATORI NIGHTGOWN THAT SHE BOUGHT FROM NEIMAN MARCUS & IT GOES BEAUTIFULLY - THE SET IS ONE OF THE MOST GORGEOUS ONE THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN & I HAVE SEEN VERY MANY OF THEM
THE GLEAMING FLUID SATIN PEIGNOIR IS IN A CHAMPAGNE SHADE WITH A DOUBLE ROW OF MARABOU AROUND NECK, DOWN THE FRONT & ON THE SLEEVES AS WELL - IT CONTINUES AROUND THE CURVED FRONT OF THE PEIGNOIR EXCEPT THERE ARE NOW 3 ROWS OF MARABOU SURROUNDING THE HEM OF THE PEIGNOIR FOR A VERY LUXURIOUS LOOK - THERE ARE VERY SUBSTANTIAL LARGE METAL HOOKS LIKE I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE & LARGE METAL ROUNDED EYES FOR CLOSURE IN THE FRONT BUT I THINK IT LOOKS THE BEST WITH THE PEIGNOIR OPEN FLOATING BEHIND YOU & IT IS ALMOST LIKE A TRAIN WHEN WALKING - VINTAGE PINKED SEAMS
THE BIAS-CUT NIGHTGOWN IS BY NATORI FROM NEIMAN MARCUS SO YOU KNOW IT WAS EXPENSIVE AS WELL AS A QUALITY GOWN - THE LABEL LOOKS VERY MUCH LIKE A NEIMAN MARCUS ‘80s LABEL THAT I SAW ON THE VINTAGE FASHION GUILD SITE - IT ALSO IS IN FLUID EXPENSIVE CHAMPAGNE SATIN WITH A SHEER CHIFFON & FLORAL BURNOUT VELVET YOLK ON THE BODICE - THERE ARE TINY THIN STRAPS - JUST A GORGEOUS CHAMPAGNE SATIN & MARABOU SET TO MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A 1930’s MOVIE STAR - YOU JUST DON’T SEE SETS LIKE THIS ANYMORE!
Peignoir

Size: No tag so go by the measurements
Bust: 41 all the way around
Length: 54-1/4
Condition: The peignoir could use a cleaning as it has perspiration marks under the arms wich may or may not come out but they fall into the folds so no one is going to notice since you will not be holding your arms up & they look like shadows when wearing - some pale spots on the lower front closer to the marabou - looks like a splash from a liquid which may come out with a cleaning but it blends in well & no one would notice it at night

Fabric: No tag but gorgeous fluid satin
Care: No tag so I would dry clean

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use/wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.
Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
