THIS IS A RARE, RARE JEWEL-TONE INTIME DOUBLE NYLON LACE PEIGNOIR & NIGHTGOWN SET IN CRÈME DE MENTHE LAVISHED WITH IVORY LACE - THE COLOR IS BEAUTIFUL & ANY SHADE OF GREEN IS EXCEPTIONALLY HARD TO FIND IN A PEIGNOIR SET
THIS COLOR IS A DEEP, DEEP RICH JEWEL-TONE SPRING GREEN WHICH IS JUST FABULOUS - THE PEIGNOIR & GOWN SETS IN PASTEL COLORS ARE MORE COMMON & A BIT EASIER TO FIND BUT EVEN NOW, THEY ARE NOT IN ABUNDANCE BUT THE DEEP JEWEL-TONE COLORS ARE VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND NOWADAYS

THIS BEAUTIFUL SET IS LAVISHED WITH EXQUISITE IVORY LACE WHICH MAKES FOR A BEAUTIFUL & UNIQUE COLOR COMBINATION WITH THE GREEN- AROUND THE NECK, THERE IS IVORY LACE WITH CRÈME DE MENTHE PIPING DOWN THE MIDDLE OF IT ACCENTED WITH A SMALL NYLON ROSE - A SNAP IS UNDER THAT FOR CLOSURE - THE PEIGNOIR HAS 2 LAYERS OF SHEER NYLON FOR A LOVELY ETHEREAL LOOK - THE DOUBLE NYLON SLEEVES ARE TRIMMED WITH 3 ROWS OF IVORY FLORAL LACE - 11” UP FROM THE HEMLINE OF THE PEIGNOIR, THERE ARE 4 ROWS OF IVORY LACE WITH NYLON IN BETWEEN FOR A FABULOUS LOOK

Size: Medium but should fit a small & maybe some large sizes as well but go by the measurements for a good fit

Bust 52-½ all the way around & more if you leave it open which always looks prettier anyhow

Bust 40 unstretched & if you should need it larger, you can open the side seams under the arms to make it larger in the bust & arms

Nylon
Care tag says machine wash & dry & cool iron but I would definitely hand wash drip dry & DO NOT put in the washer or dryer as they ruin vintage double nylon sets & definitely do not use an iron on these vintage sets I use a steamer but an iron would ruin them
Condition: Very good - about 3-4" of the LINING on the gown has come undone - it would take just a couple of minutes to put it up but since it can't be seen, I would forget it

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be NEW, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. Please remember that unless specified that the item is new, all items have been used and will show varying signs of use/wear. I may miss a small imperfection but we always list the obvious ones to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.
Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
