A BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE DRESS & FRINGE CAPE COAT OUTFIT BY CALIFORNIA GIRL - NO TAGS BUT FEELS LIKE A WOOL KNIT - COLORS ARE A BURGUNDY WITH AN ACCENT OF MOSS & WHITE - FRINGE CAPE IS LINED & CLOSES ON THE SHOULDER AREA WITH 2 METAL BUTTONS WITH A SNAP - POCKETS IN THE SKIRT - FRONT OF SKIRT FLAPS OVER & IS SEWED THERE SO IT WILL NOT EXPOSE LEGS IF IT OPENS - BACK ZIPPER - HARD TO BELIEVE BUT THE ORIGINAL BELT IS STILL WITH THE DRESS & IT SAYS "CALIFORNIA GIRL" ON THE BACK OF IT - JUST A DARLING OUTFIT FOR FALL
By: California Girl Size: No tag in dress but belt says size 8 but it is vintage sizing - I wear a size 8 - 10 & closer to the size 10 & although I did not try the dress on, I did put my arm into one of the sleeves & it was tight on me so it was probably made for a size smaller than a 10 - maybe a size 6 or a very small 8 but go by the measurements Measurements: Cape the length of the cape in back is 31" including the fringe

Bust: 35 - 37 sretched tight Waist: 27 unstretched Hip: 37 but leave room for movement Length: from top of collar to hem 39
Fabric: No tag but feels like wool or a wool blend Condition: Very good - some dark spots a few inches above the hem on both sleeves close to the inside seam which blended in so well I nearly missed them - I don’t think anyone else would notice them as I didn't see them until I took it into bright sunlight & closely examined the dress Care: No tag so I would dry clean
We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be NEW, please don't expect it to be perfect. Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use/wear. We always list the obvious staining/spotting/discoloration and damage/defects to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning. I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing.
