THE LACE IS FABULOUS ON THIS VINTAGE ‘70s JOY STEVENS ECRU LACE BOHO PRAIRIE DRESS - THERE IS A SET-IN SQUARE YOLK OF SOFT ECRU LACE SURROUNDED WITH GATHERED RUFFLES FOR SUCH A FEMININE LOOK - RUFFLEY LACE STAND UP COLLAR - LARGE FULL GIBSON GIRL SLEEVES ADORNED WITH A WIDE LACE CUFF & A GATHERED FLOUNCE - THERE ARE 3 DOME MOONSTONE-LOOK BUTTONS ON EACH CUFF FOR CLOSURE - THE ECRU FABRIC IS QUITE LOVELY AS IT HAS SOME TEXTURE TO IT IN ADDITION TO A CRINKLY “STRIPE” - ON EITHER SIDE OF THE “STRIPE”, THERE IS A STRIP OF SEMI-SHEER PERFORATED FABRIC WHICH MAKES FOR A UNIQUE & BEAUTIFUL COMBINATION AS IT ALTERNATES THE 2 DESIGNS IN THE FABRIC - THE LONG SKIRT ENDS WITH THE MOST FABULOUS 20-½” SCALLOPED LACE HEM - THE BACK OF THE DRESS HAS THE SAME BEAUTIFUL SQUARE SHEER LACE YOLK - LONG ZIPPER IN BACK - UNLINED - THE DRESS IS FAIRLY HEAVY BECAUSE OF THE LENGTH & ALL OF THE LACE - JUST A GORGEOUS VINTAGE ECRU LACE BOHO PRAIRIE DRESS BY JOY STEVENS

Size: No tag so go by the measurements
Bust: 39 - 40 but leave some room for movement
Waist: 28 unstretched
Length: EXTRA LONG 59-1/2
Fabric: The mfg tag says “Featuring Finest Fabric“ but unfortunately the fabric tag is not there but it is probably a cotton / blend - a very nice fabric
Care: Hand wash drip dry
Condition: Very good - a tiny 1/2" separation in a seam at the waist which will take a couple of stitches to close - easy fix

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
