JUST AN ADORABLE BLACK & WHITE STRIPED TAFFETA PARTY DRESS ADONRED WITH SPARKLING RHINESTONE BUTTONS - I FOUND THIS CUTE PARTY DRESS IN A VINTAGE STORE IN SAN DIEGO ON MY LAST SHOPPING TRIP THERE & NEARLY KEPT THIS ONE FOR MYSELF I LOVED IT SO MUCH - THERE IS A LARGE SNAP AT THE WAIST ALONG WITH A SLIDE HOOK FOR CLOSURE - SHOULDER PADS WHICH COULD BE REMOVED - BIG FULL SLEEVES WITH TWINKLING BLACK & RHINESTONE BUTTONS - THERE IS A VERY WIDE 3-1/8” LARGE BLACK PATENT LEATHER BELT WITH A HUGE BUCKLE & LOOPS - THERE ARE REMNANTS OF A NET CRINOLINE INSIDE WHERE THE FORMER OWN CUT THE MAJORITY OUT BUT EVEN STILL, THE DRESS IS VERY FULL & SINCE IT IS TAFFETA STILL STANDS OUT A LOT - COULD BE WORN WITH YOUR OWN CRINOLINE BUT I THINK IT LOOKS FINE THIS WAY - JUST AN ADORABLE VINTAGE TAFFETA PARTY DRESS BY EN FRANCAIS IN BLACK & WHITE

Size: 8 & it should fit a size larger as well but go by the measurements for a good fit -
Bust: 40 - 42
Waist: 28 & there is 3“ where the slide hook could be moved over if you need more room
Length: 39
Fabric: Poly taffeta
Care: Dry clean
Condition: Very good - ½ of a snap at the waist needs to a few stitches to secure - some tiny dots of soiling on one side of the collar as shown in the photo - should come out with a cleaning - little remnants of some scotch tape on the back of the belt which might come off with alcohol - I didn't try

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
