IT LOOKS LIKE A JACKET BUT IS REALLY A CAPE WHICH IS WONDERFUL FOR EASE IN WEARING & SHOULD FIT A NUMBER OF PEOPLE
NICE ROUNDED COLLAR WHICH COULD BE WORN STANDING UP SO IT FRAMES ONE’S FACE - THIS IS THE OLD VINTAGE CLUTCH STYLE WITH NO BUTTONS SO YOUR BEAUTIFUL EVENING GOWN WILL BE SHOWN WHEN WEARING IT - WOULD BE BEAUTIFUL WITH LONG EVENING GLOVES - HEAVY WHITE SATIN LINING - THERE IS A SLIT IN THE AREA WHERE ONE’S ARMS WOULD BE WHICH IS OPEN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE JACKET - VERTICAL “PELTS” LOOK TO THE CAPLET WITH A HORIZONTAL “PELT” AROUND THE BOTTOM
THESE VINTAGE CAPELETS ARE A WONDERFUL IDEA AS THEY ARE SO EASY TO BE WORN BY A NUMBER OF PEOPLE PLUS THEY LOOK BEAUTIFUL OVER COCKTAIL DRESSES & EVENING GOWNS - GREAT FOR THE HOLIDAYS WHEN YOU DON’T WANT TO WEAR A HEAVY COAT & RUIN THE LOOKS OF YOUR EVENING GOWN OR COCKTAIL DRESS

Size: No tag but will fit just about everyone because of the construction & there is nothing to constrict one - it just lays gently on one’s shoulders
Bust: cannot really measure because of the construction - maybe appx 50“ across
Length: from the top of the collar 26
Fabric: 100% Pile Acrylic
Condition: Very good - store mark on lining which no one would notice when wearing - a little soiling around the collar which looks more like a shadow - some small abrasions on the INSIDE lining which no one will see
Care: Tag says “Treat and Clean Like Fur”

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.
Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I DEFINITELY would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.
The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements as there is no return on clothing or other items.
